OVERVIEW

Halong Bay is a legendary world just waiting to be explored. Bhaya combines oriental style with contemporary luxury. Together they are the perfect recipe for an enchanting and relaxing holiday. In 1917, Emperor Khai Dinh plied the waters of the Bay in a wonderful wooden junk. Almost a century later you too can embark on a voyage through the time in a ship recreated from the original designs and with impeccable service fit for a King.

Built in oriental style with contemporary luxury, Bhaya Cruises established new standards of luxury cruising in Vietnam when Bhaya Classic from 2007. The Bhaya Classic fleet (3cruises: Bhaya Classic, Bhaya Legend and Bhaya Spirit) offers a total of 60 luxury cabins and suites accommodating a maximum 120 passengers for Ha Long Bay cruises or hosted events (weddings, corporate retreats, incentives, meetings, conferences, etc.). Noon: Check-in at Bhaya Cafe, Ha Long City. Embark on Bhaya Legend and enjoy a welcome cocktail while slowly sailing to Bai Tu Long, passing the setting for the movie Indochine, Mat Quy and Am Tich Islets. Savor a delicious fresh seafood lunch aboard.

Bhaya Legend moves on into Vung Vieng fishing village, nestled among the limestone peaks, unaffected by ocean waves or strong winds. Visit the village by kayak or small boat to get up close to the daily lives of the local fisher folk. Swim, kayak or snorkel the turquoise waters off the pristine white sandy beaches. Watch the sunset over enchanting Ha Long Bay while cruising to an overnight anchorage. Candlelit set-dinner aboard. Retire to your cabin or jig for squid.

Day 2 : Halong Bay – Hanoi ( B)

Enjoy the sunrise, the lapping waves, the fresh sea air, the gentle breeze or get up at your leisure. Complimentary tea & coffee are available on request.

The crew will ready the vessel to sail to a destination of your choice. Choices include: sightseeing at Sung Sot cave; a climb to the top of Titop Mountain; lagoon kayaking or swimming on a deserted beach. Brunch is served aboard. Bhaya Legend returns to Ha Long City at 11:00. End of service

Child Policy:

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay ( L, D)

08:20: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi

Bhaya Legend travels into Vung Vieng fishing village, unaffected by ocean waves or strong winds and nestled among the limestone peaks. Visit the village by kayak or small rowing boat to watch the daily lives of locals up close. Swim; kayak the turquoise waters off the unspoiled white sandy beaches. Observe the sunset over enchanting Halong Bay while cruising to the anchor for overnight. Candlelit set-dinner onboard, join the fishing program or return to your cabin.

Day 2: Halong Bay Cruising ( B, L, D )

Enjoy the sunrise, the lapping waves, the fresh sea air, the gentle breeze or get up at your leisure. A hot breakfast is available on request. Depending on the weather, Bhaya Spirit will cruise one of the following routes:

Option 1: For Calm Seas. Bhaya Legend heads to Lan Ha Bay and Three Peach Beach for swimming, kayaking & snorkeling on a pristine, private beach. Fresh seafood lunch is served aboard. Discover Ho Ba Ham Islet, the most remote point in Lan Ha Bay and bordering the Gulf of Tonkin. Visit the old-fashioned fishing village and lagoon. Kayaking through an astounding tunnel under a karst mountain (if time & tide permitting). Then the vessel cruises to an overnight anchorage. Set-dinner when you want and overnight aboard.

Option 2: For Choppy Seas. Bhaya Legend heads to Hang Toi Lagoon, one of the most beautiful in the whole of Ha Long Bay, for swimming, kayaking & snorkeling. Fresh seafood lunch is served aboard. Continue on to discover Hang Trai Islet. Visit the quaint fishing village. Later, climb Soi Sim Islet to contemplate the sunset from the top of the Bay. The vessel then cruises to an overnight anchorage. Set-dinner when you want and overnight aboard.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi ( B)

The crew will ready the vessel to sail to a destination of your choice. Choices include: sightseeing at Sung Sot Grotto; hiking up Titop Mountain; kayaking lagoon or swimming on a deserted beach. Breakfast is served onboard. Bhaya Legend returns to Halong city at 11 am.

HALONG JASMINE BOAT

Overview

Officially open on 18 December 2007, one of the newest four star junks set the standard for services and amenities on the bay. Fitted out in the 1930′s Indochine style, the Along Jasmine will feature 22 spacious cabins, restaurant, lounge and two special jasmine Suites with their own Jacuzzi & balcony for uninterrupted views of the bay. 

Enjoy the intimacy of a small party within the space of Along Bay’s largest cruise junk. A lengthy 55 meters from bow to stern and measuring an impressive 11 meters wide; Along Jasmine can accommodate 80 passengers at any one time across four luxurious decks, with an overnight capacity of 48. The attention to detail and quality of design is apparent in every inch of this newly-built junk, artfully marrying space, rich 1930s Indochina-style wooden decor and exquisite ornamentation throughout its air-conditioned bedrooms, restaurant, bars and communal spaces.

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruising (L,D)

Private car pick up at 08:00 at your hotel in Hanoi and drive through scenic countryside areas to Halong Bay. We will be arriving in the Halong City at around 12:00. Enjoy a warm welcome aboard the Halong Jasmine, and sit back and drink in the spectacular vista during our passage into this magical bay.

Once lunch has been served and taste buds and tummies thoroughly satisfied, we weigh anchor near a secluded beach. Take a short trek to a nearby summit to enjoy the panoramic view of the bay with Jasmine’s golden sails arcing elegantly against the skyline before splashing down for a swim, or recline on Jasmine’s wicker sun loungers on our expansive wooden sundeck. Later that afternoon, we visit a local fishing village where you have the opportunity to interact with some of the more colorful locals who have lived and fished in the bay for almost three generations.

Soak up the vibrant atmosphere as we cruise around fishing villages, or take in things at your own pace in a kayak. Lunch will be served on board by your private chef before you return to the Jasmine for the night.

 

Day 3: Halong Bay Cruising – Hanoi (B,L)
